No, Encar.com does not offer a public API for its listing data. EnCarAPI is an independent service that provides the publicly listed Encar vehicle data through a documented REST API, so you can query it with one API key instead of building your own data collection.
How can I get Encar.com listing data via an API?+
Start a plan or the 5-day trial on encarapi.com, receive your API key by email and send it as the x-api-key header to https://api.encarapi.com. GET /api/catalog searches and filters Encar listings, and GET /api/vehicle/<id> returns the full detail of one car as JSON. Official Python and Node.js SDKs and an MCP server for AI assistants are available.
Which data fields does the Encar API include?+
Every Encar listing includes brand, model, generation, trim, year, mileage, price, fuel, transmission, color, photos and equipment options, with names and values mapped from Korean to English. The vehicle detail adds the inspection report, accident and ownership records, the Encar condition report (tread depth per tire, body and interior check), the Encar diagnosis (outer panels and the inspector's verdict), the Encar vehicle history (odometer readings, inspections, repairs and the ownership timeline), price history and dealer information.
How much does the Encar API cost, and how can I test it?+
Plans cost €149/month (Starter), €199/month (Business) and €299/month (Scale), and annual billing saves 20%. To test the API, start the 5-day trial for €9.99: it includes Encar, KB Chachacha and K Car with up to 100,000 catalog rows and 2,000 detail lookups in total (max. 1,000 lookups per day), and continues on the Starter plan at €149/month unless you cancel before day 5.
Should I use the Encar API or build my own Encar scraper?+
